  • 1 block Tofu silken for smoother texture
  • 2 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast optional for cheesy flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper or red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder optional, can substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder skip if using fresh onion

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Sauté in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  2. Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-5 minutes. Let the filling cool.
  3. Blend the cooled filling with tofu, nutritional yeast, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  4. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle and trim edges.
  5. Spread filling on pastry and roll tightly. Cut into 12 pieces using sewing thread for clean cuts.
  6. Place rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!
