  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers Infuses a floral tartness and stunning magenta color
  • 4 cups water Acts as the essential base for steeping
  • 1 large ripe peach Peeled and chopped for infusion
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or sugar Sweetens the tea to your liking

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 4 cups of water with 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers. Place over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer.
  2. Once bubbling, remove from heat and cover. Allow to steep for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. While steeping, peel and chop the ripe peach into small cubes.
  4. After steeping, strain the hibiscus tea into a pitcher using a fine mesh sieve.
  5. Add the chopped peaches and stir gently to incorporate.
  6. Sweeten with honey or sugar according to taste, stirring until dissolved.
  7. Serve warm or chill for a refreshing iced version.
