- In a large mixing bowl, combine fresh ground beef, breadcrumbs, the large egg, cumin, ground pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
- Place one ball between two squares of wax paper and press down to flatten to ½ inch thick. Repeat for remaining balls.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C), for about 10 minutes.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping occasionally. Ensure an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
