Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Whisk together all the stir-fry sauce ingredients in a measuring cup until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the beef. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Wipe the skillet clean, return to medium heat, and pour in sesame oil. Add chopped napa cabbage and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Stir in shredded carrots and return the cooked beef to the pan. Mix thoroughly for another 1–2 minutes.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and stir constantly until sauce thickens slightly for 30–40 seconds.
  7. Remove from heat, serve over cooked rice or cauliflower rice, and garnish with chopped scallion greens.
