Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Pat dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, cheese, parsley, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the topping mixture evenly over the cod fillets.
- Bake the cod for 10-12 minutes until it turns opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Switch the oven to broil and broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for a golden finish.
- Allow the cod to rest for a minute before serving. Optionally drizzle with lemon juice.
