Cauliflower Crust Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rice the cauliflower in a food processor until it resembles fine grains. Steam for 4-5 minutes, then press out excess moisture.
- Combine the cooked cauliflower with mozzarella cheese and egg in a large bowl, mixing until a dough-like mixture forms.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the cauliflower mixture evenly to form a circular pizza shape, about ½ inch thick. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Topping and Final Bake
- Once the crust is baked, cool it for a couple of minutes. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce, then add mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Adjust toppings as desired.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted. Keep an eye on it to achieve perfect crispness.
- Allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
