Ingredients
  

Burger Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayo or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup opt for sugar-free
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard any mustard can be used
  • a few dashes hot sauce to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice lime juice can be substituted
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle juice apple cider vinegar can be used
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill fresh dill can be used
  • 1 pinch sweet paprika
  • 1 pinch garlic powder garlic salt can work as well
For the Bowl
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean) can substitute with ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil olive oil can be substituted
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce any leafy greens can replace it
  • 1 cup diced onion red onion can offer a milder flavor
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes can use cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles omit if preferred
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese any cheese variety works

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together burger sauce ingredients: mayo, ketchup, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, fresh lemon juice, dill pickle juice, dried dill, sweet paprika, and garlic powder. Set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add avocado oil, then add ground beef. Brown for 5-7 minutes until cooked through and no pink remained.
  3. Assemble bowls with a base of chopped romaine lettuce, layer cooked beef, add shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and onions. Sprinkle with dill pickles if desired.
  4. Top each bowl with the prepared burger sauce. Serve immediately.
