  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce Use tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 cup Beef Broth Vegetable broth is an option
  • 1/4 cup Honey Cubed pear can be used as a substitute
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper (optional) Omit for milder taste
For Garnish
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds Toasted for extra flavor

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the beef short ribs dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  2. Place the seasoned ribs in a single layer in the slow cooker. Add potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour soy sauce and beef broth over the ingredients. Drizzle honey and sesame oil on top. Add crushed red pepper if desired and stir gently.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Remove the lid, stir gently, and let the short ribs rest for about 15 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve over steamed rice and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
