Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, and minced garlic. Mix thoroughly until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the beef sirloin or tenderloin cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Allow to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat and add cooking oil until it shimmers.
  4. Add marinated beef cubes in a single layer and sear for 1 to 2 minutes, then flip and sear the other side for another 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. Once beef is seared, add the sliced red onions and stir-fry for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the mixture and toss to incorporate, then transfer to a serving platter.
