Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 blend) Substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce Enhances flavor and acts as a binder.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder For a more intense flavor, use fresh garlic.
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
For the Quesadilla
  • 4 large Flour Tortillas
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1 cup Diced Onions
  • 1 cup Sliced Pickles
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Melted Unsalted Butter For brushing on tortillas.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For oiling the cooking surface.
Optional Garnishes
  • 1 cup Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mustard

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Lightly oil the surface to prevent sticking.
  3. Divide beef mixture into eight equal balls, form into patties, and cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
  4. Flip patties and cook another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from heat.
  5. Brush one side of each tortilla with melted butter. Lay butter-side down on the grill.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on one half of each tortilla, add cooked patties, onions, pickles, tomatoes, and more cheese.
  7. Fold tortilla over the filling and grill for 2-3 minutes, pressing gently.
  8. Flip and grill the second side for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Remove from heat, let rest for a minute, then slice into wedges.
  10. Serve warm, optionally garnishing with lettuce, ketchup, and mustard.
