Method
 

Grilling Instructions
  1. Prepare the grill by preheating it to medium-high heat (375°F to 400°F) and grease the grates with oil.
  2. In a large bowl, shape the ground beef into four patties, about 3/4-inch thick, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the patties over direct heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked to desired doneness.
  4. Grill the pepperoni slices during the last minute until crispy.
  5. Move the patties to indirect heat, top with jalapeños and cheddar, cover, and melt cheese for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble the burgers with patties on buns, topped with pepperoni, lettuce, and condiments.
