  • 8 ounces Spaghetti Cook until al dente.
For the Sauce

  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For sweetness and color.
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano Dried.

For the Shrimp
  • 1 pound Large Shrimp Peeled.
For the Base
  • 28 ounces Crushed Tomatoes Canned.
  • ½ cup Dry White Wine Can substitute with chicken broth.
For Garnish
  • to taste Fresh Parsley Chopped.
  • to taste Fresh Basil Chopped.
  • ½ teaspoon Lemon Zest For brightness.
  • to taste Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add crushed red pepper flakes, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir and cook for another minute.
  4. Increase heat to medium-high and add large shrimp. Sauté until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Add dry white wine and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping the pan to release flavors.
  6. Stir in crushed tomatoes and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss gently to combine. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Stir in chopped parsley, basil, and lemon zest until evenly distributed.
  9. Serve in warm bowls and top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
