  • 12 pieces Strawberries Bright red and ripe
  • 2 ounces White Fondant Can be colored
  • 1 tablespoon Black Food Coloring Gel
  • cup Powdered Icing Sugar For dusting
  • 1 tube White Writing Icing Acts as glue
  • 12 pieces Candy Eyes For decoration

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and dry strawberries, then cut off the tops for a flat surface.
  2. Color the Fondant: Divide white fondant, add black food coloring to one half and knead.
  3. Roll Out the Fondant: Dust work surface with icing sugar and roll both fondants to 1/8 inch thickness.
  4. Cut Out the Monster Features: Cut ovals from black fondant for mouths and triangles from white fondant for teeth.
  5. Assemble the Monster Faces: Attach white teeth to black mouths with water, then stick to strawberries with writing icing.
  6. Add the Candy Eyes: Use writing icing to attach candy eyes onto each strawberry.
  7. Serve and Enjoy!: Present decorated strawberries on a platter and enjoy fresh.
