Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, chicken broth, olive oil, dried oregano, ground paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a flavorful seasoning blend. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Place sliced yellow onions at the bottom of your slow cooker. Arrange the boneless, skinless chicken breasts on top. Pour the prepared seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
  4. Carefully remove the lid and shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks, mixing it with onions and juices.
  5. Warm pita bread and fill each pita with the shredded chicken mixture, topping with diced tomatoes, cucumber slices, red onions, and tzatziki sauce.
