  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger grated
  • 1 Red Chili finely sliced
For Garnish
  • 1 bunch Fresh Cilantro chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse the white fish fillets under cold running water, then pat them completely dry with paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine lime juice and zest, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, granulated sugar, and grated ginger. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Transfer the marinated fish into a steaming dish in a single layer. Scatter sliced red chili and half of the chopped cilantro on top.
  5. Set up your steamer and bring water to a boil. Steam the dish uncovered for 10-12 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
  6. Remove from the steamer and garnish with the remaining cilantro before serving. Enjoy with steamed rice or a salad.
