Cooking Steps
  1. In a large pot, heat over medium-high heat and add the ground pork. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add the diced yellow onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté for about 3–4 minutes until the onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Once boiling, add shredded carrots and sliced cabbage. Stir well, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. If desired, slowly drizzle in beaten eggs while gently stirring, allowing them to cook and form ribbons.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve warm topped with chopped green onions and optional spicy toppings.
