  • 1 yolk Egg
  • 2 cups Self-Rising Flour Can substitute with all-purpose flour + 1 tsp baking powder + 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter No sugar added; almond butter for nut-free version.
For the Jelly Layer
  • 1 cup Grape Jelly Or substitute with your favorite jam.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined, about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually mix in the self-rising flour at a low speed until just combined.
  5. Spread about ⅔ of the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Whisk the grape jelly until smooth, then spread it over the batter.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining batter over the jelly layer.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
